A family of mice lived in a house.
The family of mice ate dinner and slept. When the mice went out a cat would
come and eat one of them. They yelled, “That awful cat! We should tie a
bell around the cat’s neck.”
“Good idea” they all screamed.
The old and wisest whispered,
“Who will volunteer?” No one talked any more. The young mice learned to
not go outside when cats are around.
