Thomas A. Edison, who was a famous
inventor, changed the world with his many inventions. He patented 1,093 of his
inventions because he didn’t want anyone
to copy his invention. He is most famous for the electric light bulb. He passionately
worked on this contraption day and night for five years. He improved other
gizmos like the telephone, typewriter, and the battery. He had to do 10,000
battery experiments before he could get it to work. Shockingly, he never gave
up. Thomas Edison improved peoples’ lives everywhere, and people called him “The
wizard of Menlo Park.”
